Scam warning

Making deals on the internet beware of scam. Unfair sellers ask you to make payment but you never see the product you’ve paid for.

How to detect scam attempts?

In general it’s relatively easy – just use common sense.

1. Use only secure payment gateways.

If you don’t have opportunity to meet in person with the seller and you are intended to make deal online, make sure you pay with secure payment gateway. Some services like Paypal offer buyer protection service so you get protected. Never give you credit card number to person/seller you don’t know.

2. Think if deal is realistic.

Sometimes if something sounds too good to be true – it ain’t! Most likely you are going to be scammed. Be careful.

3. As seller never send item before payment received from buyer.

Use secure payment gateway for the payment and signed delivery company with tracking number. Both get protected.

4. Both as buyer or seller if you are willing to meet in person – choose public place with a lot of people around.
